Guest: Lisa Druxman, expert in the field of pre and postnatal fitness and the founder and CEO of Stroller Strides, the country’s largest fitness program for moms. Her other company, Fit4Mom, has also developed other fitness programs for moms: Fit4Baby which is for moms during pregnancy and Body Back which is for moms who are ready to take their fitness and vitality to the next level.

About Lisa Druxman:

Lisa Druxman, M.A. is a nationally recognized speaker and author and is considered an expert in the field of fitness, particularly pre and postnatal fitness. She is also the founder and CEO of Stroller Strides, the country’s largest fitness program for moms.

Her company Fit4Mom has also developed other fitness programs for moms: Fit4Baby which is for moms during pregnancy and Body Back which is for moms who are ready to take their fitness and vitality to the next level.

Druxman earned her Master's degree at San Diego State University in psychology with an emphasis in exercise adherence and weight control. She created the weight management program, L.E.A.N. Mommy® (Learn Eating Awareness and Nutrition) which was released as a book by Hachette Publishing this year. She is also a fellow podcaster and her show, “Motivating Mom” can be found in iTunes right now.

A noted authority on prenatal and postnatal fitness, Druxman has been a presenter at I.D.E.A. (national and world conferences), and is certified as an instructor, personal trainer, and provider of Continuing Education through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Lisa was the recipient of the 2007  IDEA Program Director of the Year award and the 2008 Business Owner of the Year Award for the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Druxman is also a well-published author, winning an APEX journalism award for a recent article published in a fitness trade journal.  Druxman has been received numerous business awards by organizations such as the National Association of Women Business Owners for her unique and successful business.
